Wet N’ Wild Wednesdays (10:00AM - 1:00PM)
10 a.m.-1 p.m. Families are invited to come and beat the heat during the month of June, free of charge. The kids will enjoy large water slides, slip n’ slides, as well as a variety of wading pools for the little ones. The event is for kids age 2-12. Wet N’ Wild Wednesdays will be held at Lott Park on June 9, 16 and 23. The City of Daphne makes this event possible.

Required for most hunters, this course content includes hunter responsibility, wildlife laws, wildlife management and identification, firearms safety, archery, muzzle loading, basic survival and first aid. Alabama Coastal Cleanup (8:00AM - 12:00PM)
For two decades, the Alabama Coastal Cleanup has brought volunteers from across the state to the coast for one purpose to clean up the debris and trash they find there. Over the years, they have had 48,446 volunteers remove 902,242 pounds of marine debris from a total of 2,847 miles of coastline! Turtle Derby On The Delta (2:30PM - 4:30PM)
This is an exciting family-friendly event where participants “adopt” a turtle for $5 each. One thousand turtles are released into a waterway where they race to the finish line. The first place winner receives a fabulous prize and there are additional prizes for the next several winners. Poetry And Songs With Connie Cazort (4:00PM - 5:00PM)
Kindergarten and elementary school children won’t want to miss an afternoon of poetry and song at Page & Palette from 4 - 5 p.m. Storyteller extraordinaire, Connie Cazort, will fill young ears with whimsical poems from Mary Ann Hoberman’s The Llama Who Had No Pajama. Mercy Medical’s 24th Annual Charity Golf Tournament (All Day)

Humane Society Of The United States (HSUS) Grass Roots Meeting (6:00PM - 8:00PM)
Hosted by The Haven and the Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!) to connect with area animal advocates. This free meeting will be held at the Fairhope Civic Center from 6 – 8 p.m. The meeting emphasizes the importance of grassroots efforts to further protection for animals, whether through legislation or corporate and public policy. Mindy Gilbert, Alabama State Director for The Humane Society of the U.S., is the invited guest of Michael Graham, Executive Director, The Haven, and Sonja Presley, BARC! Executive Director. Gilbert’s presentation reviews the programs and campaigns of the HSUS, and what their efforts in Alabama are. She will receive ideas from the attendees about what animal protection legislation they would support. The 22nd Annual Jubilee Festival (10:00AM - 5:00PM)
The juried art show takes place on Main Street (Scenic 98) in Olde Towne Daphne, in front of City Hall and in Centennial Park. There is no admission and the festival will be held 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day. The Jubilee Festival will feature more than 85 of the finest artists and craftsmen in the region. The Eastern Shore Chamber expects more than 34,000 patrons to attend this year. Those attending will also find a delicious assortment of unique festival foods. Kids Art at Jubilee Festival is a great opportunity to provide children hands-on experience in learning and exploring their creative side. Wet N’ Wild Wednesdays (10:00AM - 1:00PM)
